Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Certablo handles personal data when you use the learning platform.

1. Controller

Certablo is operated by Can Kaya. The complete business address and direct privacy contact must be added to the legal notice before commercial launch.

2. Data we process

3. Why we process it

We use this data to provide the account, synchronize progress, control course access, process memberships, secure the service, and meet legal obligations. Depending on the activity, processing is based on performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests in secure operation, or a legal obligation.

4. Service providers

Certablo uses Auth0 for account registration, sign-in, email verification, and password recovery; OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare-backed infrastructure for hosting and learning records; and Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, and billing. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Certablo.

5. Retention

Account and progress data is retained while your account is active and then only as long as needed for contractual, security, and statutory purposes. Billing records may be retained for legally required accounting periods.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority.

7. Cookies and local storage

Certablo uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie for authentication and limited local storage for interface preferences and learning interactions. Optional analytics or marketing technologies must not be activated without updating this policy and, where required, collecting consent.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
